The Sacred Heart Church, Srinivasa Nagar was bifurcated from Peravallur and erected in the year 1984. The land for this Church was purchased by the Salesians. The first Parish Priest of Srinivasa Nagar was Rev Fr Abraham Kottooparampil. The Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School is run by the Parish.
