Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church, Poompozhil Nagar
As the Parish of Avadi HVF is very extensive and as Poompozhil Nagar has grown sufficiently, it has become necessary now to bifurcate the parish of Avadi HVF and create a new parish with its head-quarters at Poompozhil Nagar with Our Lady of Immaculate Conception as its patron.
The proposed boundaries of the new parish of Poompozhil Nagar will be as follows:

Hence, by this decree, we hereby erect the New Parish at Poompozhil Nagar dedicated to Our Lady of Immaculate Conception with effect from 8th May 2010.
